Friends let friends fav and comment. :D
comment before you fav, people~

My sketchbook for my art class last year was an actual book! Gasp! So this is just one of the many drawings that were in there. I basically picked pages at random and either drew something relevant to what was on the page, or just something I felt like drawing. Hmmmm.

And oh my god, I can only take pictures of it right now since my scanner's way upstairs and there's no room for it downstairs. Sorry for crappy quality~

[[Btw, the book was called, "He's Just Not That Into You". Laame.]]

This one took me forever. D: I'm talking a week or so because I couldn't stop messing with it. It was part of my art final and the only thing that came out of it that I looooved. It's done entirely in pen, I never worked with anything else in my book. It was supposed to be about envy and how the woman on the right is trying to steal the identity and life of the woman on the left. Think cheezy horror Lifetime movie.

Took me foreverrrrrrrrr noooooooo.

Gawd, if that's a drawing you drew in a book as a sketch...
I think I might die of your rays of godliness! *O*
There's so much going on, but it's just the right ammount! It's so perfect! The different sides split between the pages of the book- ahhh, I'm in love with the style of this and the emotion it presents! <3

God, this is just amazing.

It's so...inspiring to me.
I haven't seen something so different/original in a long time.

I am truly in love with your style.
The character's facial expressions completely drew me in.

Stunning work.

That's so cool! I gotta do that too... in a random book, then I'll sell it to a used bookstore for someone to stumble upon....XD

Altered book art is awesome.

I like your style. Anatomy is a little wonky in places, but nothing jumps out immediately. Your faces are clear (and cute. And not immediately OMG Anime. Defenately your own style) your hair looks fluffy, and the shading is good.

And you pwn everybody by doing it all with a pen.

Lovely job.

Thank you so much~! I love your comments.

Ahaha, yeah, my anatomy's always been a little wonky. And I guess, for now, that's just gonna be one of the quirks to my style until I can improve it. Btw, thank you for saying that it's in my own style. It's just always nice to hear.

And yes. I rocked that pen.

Thanks again. (:

You're welcome. :D

I'd suggest investing in a really good reference book (I've been using two of Christopher Hart's for years..."Human Anatomy Made Amazingly Simple" and "Drawing Cutting Edge Anatomy" They're a little simpler than the more advanced artist anatomy books, but they assume that the reader has little to no knowledge and actually explains how to break down the muscles and shapes into something you can draw) and practicing with it open to the side. You're a lot better than most people around here, even without the extra help...I only see it because I've had to teach myself to look. Most people would just see a well-drawn style.
